Getting Started Video Tutorial (Web🖥️)

Hello and welcome to the RSAC Community! đź‘‹

I’m Erin O’Neill, your Community Manager. In this video, I'll walk you through how to get started with your RSAC Membership on the Web App and make the most of your community experience.

Let’s begin by setting up your profile, so others understand how your role might relate to theirs.

Head to the bottom-left corner of your screen, click on your name, and then select “Profile & Settings.”

Here, you’ll find everything you need to personalize your experience. From updating your name, job title, company, and profile picture, to managing your account security and notification preferences.

Take a moment to review your settings:

âś… Want to appear in the public RSAC Directory?

âś… Need to update your email address?

âś… Curious about marketing emails or group notifications?

We recommend turning these toggles on to stay in the loop about upcoming events like virtual AMAs, webcasts, and the latest cybersecurity discussions with your peers.

Once your profile’s all set, it’s time to explore Group discussions!

Search for public or private groups that match your interests and be sure to join these to start with:

👉 The Lobby

👉 Cybersecurity Discussions

Are great places to meet fellow members and

👉 RSAC Community Updates

👉 RSAC Conference Updates

👉 RSAC Community Events

Are great places to stay informed on all things RSAC!

Anyone in the community can join a public group, but you must be invited into a private group by a community manager.

When you join The Lobby group, go ahead and introduce yourself!

We’d love to know more about you! What’s your current role? How long have you been in cybersecurity? And what are you most excited about as part of this community? Scroll up in the group to find a suggested template you can use.

Looking to dive deeper into specific topics?

Check out groups like Strategy & Architecture or AI & Security to connect with others and ask questions on topics that matter most to you.

For example, you can ask questions and start discussions based on our Daily Brief, Library, and AI Assistant content by selecting “share” and “copy link” when you come across something of interest.

And if you ever need help or want to share feedback, head over to our Help Center. There, you can browse other helpful resources or submit a ticket to our support team. We’re always happy to help!

Thanks for being part of the RSAC Community. We’re excited to have you here and can’t wait to see you at one of our upcoming events. See you around! đź‘‹
