Getting Started Video Tutorial (iOS📱)
Hello and welcome to the RSAC Community! đź‘‹
I’m Erin O’Neill, your Community Manager. In this video, we’ll walk you through how to get started with your RSAC Membership on the iOS App and make the most of your community experience.
Let’s begin by setting up your profile and preferences.
Head to the top-right corner of your screen, click on your icon, and then select “Your Information."
Here, you’ll have options to personalize your experience. From updating your name, job title, company, and profile picture, to adding yourself to the public directory
Once your profile’s all set, it’s time to explore the Group discussions!
Search for public or private groups that match your interests, and be sure to join these to start with:

👉 Cybersecurity Discussions
Are great places to meet fellow members and
👉 RSAC Community Updates
👉 RSAC Conference Updates
👉 RSAC Community Events
Are great places to stay informed on all things RSAC!
Anyone in the community can join a public group, but you must be invited into a private group by a community manager.
When you join The Lobby group, go ahead and introduce yourself!
We’d love to know more about you! What’s your current role? How long have you been in cybersecurity? And what are you most excited about as part of this community? Scroll up in the group to find a suggested template you can use.
Looking to dive deeper into specific topics?
Check out groups like Strategy & Architecture or AI & Security to connect with others and ask questions on topics that matter most to you.
For example, you can ask questions and start discussions based on our Daily Brief, Library, and AI Assistant content by selecting “share” and “copy link” buttons when you come across something of interest.
In the RSAC iOS app, connecting with fellow community members is easy and built right into your experience!
You can start by heading to the Groups section. If you see someone you'd like to connect with, simply tap on their name and send a connection request.
Another way to find people is through Secure Chat. Just search for a contact, and once you’ve connected, you can start a 1-on-1 conversation.
It’s a great way to build relationships, share insights, and learn directly from others in the community.
So go ahead and reach out, say hello, and start making meaningful connections today!
